SepTech, the Separation Technology Group of the EFCE was founded in 1996. Its Objectives are

to create a community of researchers, producers and users of Separation Technologies (distillation, extraction, absorption, membranes, adsorption,...) in Europe

to provide a forum for the dissemination and exchange of scientific and technological knowledge and ideas relating to all aspects of Separation Processes

to promote coordinated, multidisciplinary, collaborative research within industry and between industry and academia

to inform the planners and funders of national and European research programmes of the direction and priorities of future research.

Membership
Participation in this Group is open to all EFCE Members and to the following individuals and organisations:

Organisations/Individuals which develop and manufacture Separation Technology Equipment
Organisations/Individuals which develop and licence Separation Processes
Organisations which use Separations Technologies
Researchers at universities, independent research organisations and industry
National and EU research funding bodies
Participating organisations may delegate as many representatives as they whish to participate in any activities of the group.
Participants must be willing and able to discuss their research activities and needs within the Technology Group.
Participants may not use the Group to their own direct commercial advantage.
